Delegation of Attapeu Provincial People's Council visited and worked at HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex

On January 10, the delegation of the People's Council of Attapeu province, led by Mr. Souksamlarn Xaiyaseng - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Economic , Planning and Finance Committee, visited and worked at HAGL AGRICO Laos. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Doan Ba Phi - General Director of HAGL AGRICO Laos and the Board of Directors of the Group.

At the meeting, Mr. Doan Ba Phi gave an overview of THACO AGRI and KLH's sustainable agricultural development strategy. With a comprehensive plan and synchronous investment, KLH HAGL AGRICO Laos is currently implementing an integrated, circular agricultural production and business model on a total area of 27,384 hectares, including banana and mango planting and cattle raising activities. This model contributes to optimizing resources, minimizing environmental impacts, and is consistent with the green economic development orientation that Attapeu province is aiming for.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Souksamlarn Xaiyaseng highly appreciated the production scale and development strategy of KLH HAGL AGRICO Laos. He said that the visit was not only to learn about the management and operation practices of KLH, but also to promote strategic cooperation plans in the fields of economics, planning and finance, including agricultural investment projects. From there, aiming to diversify investment resources and improve financial efficiency.

“We hope that THACO AGRI will continue to expand its investment and apply advanced technology to develop Laos’ agriculture sector, contributing to local economic growth and strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two sides,” added Mr. Souksamlarn Xaiyaseng.

Within the framework of the working session, the leaders of HAGL AGRICO Laos proposed that the working delegation support the acceleration of the completion of investment items, optimize economic efficiency, and contribute significantly to the sustainable development of Attapeu province.

On this occasion, the delegation visited BSA Cattle Breeding Enterprise, banana growing enterprises, and planning areas.
