Businesses connect to develop

Connecting, cooperating, and using each other's products and services is one of the solutions that many businesses are aiming for. This not only helps increase the consumption of goods and products, but also contributes to creating an ecosystem, connecting service-producing businesses.

Dong Nai is a rapidly growing economic area, offering numerous opportunities for businesses to establish and develop. As global economic fluctuations continue, and to avoid dependence on market uncertainties, collaboration among businesses is proving highly effective.

Strengthening connections and mutual support.

Saigon Newport Corporation ( Ho Chi Minh City) is a leading port and shipping company in Vietnam. Currently, the company operates and provides services at two major port clusters in the South: Cat Lai Port and Cai Mep Port. In March 2025, Saigon Newport Corporation signed a cooperation agreement with Phuoc An Port, the largest port in Dong Nai province, to support the transfer of some vessels from international service routes at Cat Lai Port. In fact, Saigon Newport Corporation is striving to address infrastructure bottlenecks, seeking flexible operational solutions and adapting to the context of rapid cargo growth… Meanwhile, Phuoc An Port, a newly operational port and the largest in the province, is still not widely known to many shipping lines and cargo owners.

According to Mr. Dang Thanh Son, Deputy Director of Marketing at Saigon Newport Corporation, this is a testament to cooperation rather than competition among businesses in the same industry. Saigon Newport is ready to support and wishes to connect, share information, and partners, and also hopes that businesses in the same industry will have common policies to support manufacturing and import/export businesses in the region.

With over 30 members, the Dong Nai Province Young Entrepreneurs Association for Construction and Real Estate is also expanding its business connections for development. Mr. Tran Quang Huan, Chairman of the association, shared: “In the 2025-2028 period, the association's theme is “Connecting - Synergizing - Creating Sustainable Value.” Strategic connections and cooperation among member businesses will contribute to the formation of a sustainable, transparent, professional, and efficient development ecosystem in the construction and real estate industry in the province. In addition, businesses will expand their partnerships with similar businesses in other provinces and cities to take on larger projects.”

In the wood manufacturing industry, networking and cooperation among members are also highly valued.

Pham Van Sinh, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Wood and Handicraft Association (Dowa), said: The association is implementing a membership platform project with funding from international organizations. The project aims to improve the capacity for collecting and managing member information, promote international trade, and enhance the digital presence of member businesses, thereby promoting the development of the industry and the wood industry community in Dong Nai.

Prioritize cross-product use between businesses.

According to Mr. Nguyen Huu That, Director of Diep Nam Phuong Investment Joint Stock Company, Dong Nai has many potentials and advantages for businesses to develop. In this process, businesses in the area need to strengthen connections and cross-utilize each other's products and services to ensure both product output and enhanced connectivity, support, and cooperation for mutual development. Diep Nam Phuong imports, exports, and manufactures stainless steel products for industrial, construction, medical, and food industries. Currently, the company's products are sold extensively to businesses in the province.

“The processing and manufacturing industries, as well as supporting industrial products in Dong Nai, are developing strongly. It would be very beneficial if we could prioritize using each other's goods and services. We hope that partners in the province will provide the services that businesses need; conversely, we hope they will use Diep Nam Phuong's products in their production process,” Mr. That expressed.

Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan, Director of Kim Tuan Thinh Co., Ltd. (Tan Trieu Ward), also believes that: For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), mutual support and using each other's products is a trend that should be encouraged. With limited resources, it is important for businesses to find partners who are closely related to each other, gradually building an "ecosystem" to help each other in times of difficulty.

In addition to collective efforts, the business community also hopes to receive support from the State and partner organizations to participate more deeply in the production chain of goods and services. This will promote cooperation among businesses, encouraging them to produce high-quality goods with attractive designs and reasonable prices.

For the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association, members are present throughout the province's communes. According to Mr. Dang Quoc Nghi, Chairman of the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association, to promote cross-use of products, goods, and services among businesses, the association is strengthening linkages and cooperation within the young entrepreneur community and with external organizations and businesses. Besides connecting members, the Young Entrepreneurs Association will also strive to connect with organizations inside and outside the province, acting as a "bridge" between the government and the business community with the goal of sustainable business development, contributing to the overall development of the locality.
