World leaders continue to send congratulations to former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, on his re-election as US President for the 2025-2029 term, notably from the presidents of Belarus, Ukraine and France.

In a message to Mr. Trump on November 6, Belarusian President Lukashenko emphasized that the voting results confirmed Mr. Trump's personal achievements.
Mr. Lukashenko wished Mr. Trump good health and hoped that the new owner of the White House would make "sharp political decisions" to help America "make great again".
Belarus is a close ally of Russia. Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he was not aware of any plans by President Vladimir Putin to congratulate Mr. Trump on his victory, stressing that the United States is an unfriendly country to Moscow.
On the same day, French President Emmanuel Macron had a 25-minute phone call with Mr. Trump, emphasizing the important role of Europe and expressing his hope that the two sides will cooperate to restore world peace and stability in the face of current international crises.
The Élysée Palace said the two leaders had a very good conversation, discussing issues including the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the situation in the Middle East after Mr Trump takes office in January 2025.
Having a phone call with Mr. Trump on November 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on social network X: "We agreed to maintain close dialogue and promote cooperation. Strong and steadfast American leadership is very important for the world and for a just peace."
From the Middle East, the official Saudi Press Agency reported, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia sent congratulatory messages to Mr. Trump, expressing their expectations for strengthening and developing friendly relations between the two countries in all fields.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also had a "warm and friendly" conversation with Donald Trump, sending congratulations to the Republican representative on his victory and discussing the "threat from Iran" as well as the need for cooperation to ensure Israel's security.
In the Americas, Venezuela has shown goodwill towards Mr. Trump when the South American country's Foreign Minister Yvan Gil declared that Caracas is always ready to establish good relations with the government in Washington based on the spirit of dialogue, respect and sympathy.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum also congratulated Mr. Donald Trump on his victory, and expressed confidence in the future cooperation between the two countries as well as continuing to work together, respecting sovereignty and promoting an open bilateral agenda in the coming time.
On the same day, Argentine President Javier Milei called Mr. Trump's victory "spectacular" and affirmed his readiness to support the new US leader in making the world's number one power great again.
In addition, the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement congratulating the American people and pledging to strengthen the friendly relationship between the two countries.
