World leaders continue to send congratulations to former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, on his re-election as US president for the 2025-2029 term, notably from the presidents of Belarus, Ukraine, and France.

In a message to Mr. Trump on November 6th, Belarusian President Lukashenko emphasized that the election results affirmed Mr. Trump's personal achievements.
Lukashenko wished Trump good health and expressed hope that the new occupant of the White House would make "sharp political decisions" to help make America "great again".
Belarus is a close ally of Russia. Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he was unaware of any plans by President Vladimir Putin to celebrate Trump's victory, while emphasizing that the US is not a friendly country to Moscow.
On the same day, French President Emmanuel Macron had a 25-minute phone call with Mr. Trump, in which he emphasized the important role of Europe and expressed his desire for the two sides to cooperate in restoring peace and stability to the world in the face of current international crises.
The Élysée Palace said the two leaders had a very good exchange, discussing issues including the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the situation in the Middle East after Trump takes office in January 2025.
Also in a phone call with Mr. Trump on November 6th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on social media that: "We agreed to maintain close dialogue and promote cooperation. Strong and steadfast American leadership is crucial for the world and for a just peace."
From the Middle East, the official Saudi Press Agency reported, Saudi Arabia 's King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent congratulatory messages to Mr. Trump, expressing their hope for strengthening and developing friendly relations between the two countries in all areas.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also had a "warm and friendly" conversation with Donald Trump, congratulating the Republican representative on his victory and discussing the "threat from Iran" as well as the need for cooperation to ensure Israel's security.
In the Americas, Venezuela has shown goodwill towards Trump, with the South American nation's Foreign Minister Yvan Gil declaring that Caracas is always ready to establish good relations with the Washington administration based on dialogue, respect, and understanding.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum also congratulated Donald Trump on his victory, expressing confidence in the future cooperation between the two countries and promising continued collaboration, respect for sovereignty, and advancement of a broad bilateral agenda in the future.
On the same day, Argentine President Javier Milei called Trump's victory "spectacular," and affirmed his readiness to support the new American leader in making the world's leading superpower great again.
Additionally, the Argentine Foreign Ministry issued a statement congratulating the American people and pledging to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
