Dong Nai welcomes more than 130 thousand tourists during September 2nd holiday

(DN) - According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province, during the 4-day holiday celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (from August 30 to September 2), Dong Nai tourism industry welcomed more than 130,000 visitors to visit and stay.

Of the more than 130,000 tourists to Dong Nai, there were about 3,500 international visitors, an increase of 19.2% compared to the September 2, 2024 holiday. Revenue from tourism services reached 85 billion VND, an increase of 25% over the same period in 2024. The average room occupancy rate during the holiday was 35%. For accommodation establishments in areas with tourism services, the occupancy rate was from 70% to 100%.

Some tourist areas attract a large number of visitors such as: Buu Long tourist area in Tran Bien ward welcomed more than 20 thousand visitors; Son Tien tourist city in Long Hung ward welcomed 20 thousand visitors; Suoi Mo park, Tan Phu commune welcomed 11 thousand visitors... Forest ecological destinations such as: Cat Tien National Park, Bu Gia Map, Thac Mai - Bau Nuoc Boiling Ecological Tourist Area... also attract a large number of tourists to visit.

Tourism activities in the province take place joyfully, healthily, ensuring security, order and safety for tourists. Most tourist areas and destinations have renovated their landscapes, invested in items, creating special highlights towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
