The “Green Island Symphony” tour (departure date until September 2, 2025) is a product jointly implemented by 7 travel agencies that are HUTC members, along with related tourism service providers. With a 2-day-1-night itinerary, the tour impresses with its sophisticated combination of heritage tourism, entertainment, and local cuisine.
The tour departs from Hanoi , taking visitors to visit the Bach Dang Giang relic site, which preserves the feat of three times defeating invaders on the historic river.
In particular, the tour takes visitors to immerse themselves in the live music festival "Symphony of the Green Island" in the evening to enjoy the first large-scale art show held on a 50,000m² floating stage in the middle of Cat Ba sea. The program combines extreme sports, art and performance technology, setting world records as: "Jetski fireworks show with the largest lineup" and "Athletes with the most acrobatics on a flyboard in one minute".
In addition, the tour program also offers a Hai Phong food tour experience with specialties such as crab rice noodles, spicy bread, su din, worm tea..., supported by a separate culinary guide designed by allied businesses.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Permanent Vice President of HUTC, the tour program “Green Island Symphony” was built on the basis of realizing the cooperation agreement between Sun World Group and HUTC, in response to the campaign “Vietnam go to love”, launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This is the first product in the cooperation series, simultaneously exploiting many outstanding factors such as culture, history, cuisine and especially the latest live show of Sun World to bring attractive experiences to the audience.

The Standing Vice President of HUTC said that currently, the 2-day-1-night tour product is being distributed at a very reasonable price, starting from only 2,250,000 VND/person, including tickets for the live show, cable car tickets, and 4-star hotel stay in the center of Hai Phong city. This is the result of active support from other service partners, helping the product to have a much more competitive price compared to individual customers.
As the person who directly builds the product and connects the tour alliance, Mr. Tuan Anh hopes that with a short duration, good quality, and reasonable price, the program will open up a new option, suitable for many ages, especially tourists in Hanoi and neighboring provinces, contributing to repositioning summer tourism products in the North towards professionalism, quality, experience value and community benefits.
Sharing more about the highlights of the tour, Mr. Doan Ngoc Tung, Vice President of HUTC, Director of MTV Travel said that instead of staying on Cat Ba Island, the tour chose to stay overnight in the center of Hai Phong. This not only helps reduce the pressure of overloaded accommodation facilities in Cat Ba in the summer, but also creates conditions for tourists to have more time to explore food tours and urban life in Hai Phong.

“In the context that 2025 continues to be a challenging year for the tourism industry, expanding short-term domestic tours with destination connections like this will help businesses be more flexible in their business,” Mr. Doan Ngoc Tung emphasized.
The formation of tour alliances has shown a new trend in the Vietnamese tourism market, when small and medium enterprises proactively join hands to build unique products, share infrastructure, costs, and sales channels, instead of going it alone as before. HUTC is promoting the replication of the product alliance model in other localities, such as Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, etc., to strengthen connections and open up a sustainable direction for domestic tourism in Vietnam.
