QNgTV- Expected to improve travel for people in the highlands, but after just over a year of use, the Sa Binh - Ya Ly road (Quang Ngai) has appeared a series of cracks and deep subsidence, turning people's journeys into risky trips, especially during the rainy and stormy season.

The inter-commune road Sa Binh - Ya Ly is degraded.

The Sa Binh - Ya Ly inter-commune road is more than 12 km long, connecting Provincial Road 675 (Sa Binh commune) with Road DH14 (Ya Ly commune), Quang Ngai province, with an investment of nearly 20 billion VND from the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2025.

The project is designed according to grade A rural road standards, with a 3.5 m wide road surface, 2.5 m shoulder, design speed of 20 km/h and axle load capacity of 6-10 tons.

However, after just over a year of use, the road has shown signs of deterioration. Many sections are peeling, cracked, and the road surface has sunk deep into the truck tracks, making it dangerous to travel. According to local residents, there are two noodle purchasing points along the route with 4-5 large trucks per day. During the harvest season, the vehicle density increases sharply, causing the road surface to deteriorate quickly.

This road is now a daily concern for people in the highlands, especially during the rainy and stormy season and harvest time, when the degradation is rapid and increasingly serious.
