On October 24th, Cargill Corporation (USA) held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over the Yăng village school, part of Ia Phí Primary School (Ia Phí commune, Gia Lai province).
This is the 125th school built and donated to a local community as part of a philanthropic program funded by the Cargill Cares Foundation. The program aims to complete 150 schools in Vietnam by 2030, providing students across the country with better learning opportunities.

Over 130 students, mostly from ethnic minority groups, benefit from the Yang village school donated by Cargill Corporation.

This is a flagship school project of the Cargill Cares Foundation, commemorating 30 years of Cargill's establishment and operations in Vietnam.
The new school building includes 5 classrooms, a library, restrooms, etc., with a total investment of over 4.5 billion VND, creating a spacious and safe learning environment for more than 130 students, mostly ethnic minorities in the locality.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Luan, Chief Representative of Cargill Group in Vietnam, shared: "The Yang village school is proof of our belief that education is a core factor for development. At Cargill Vietnam, we not only invest in the agricultural sector but also accompany future generations through many charitable activities, especially education in local communities."
