Gia Lai: Proposal to consider special high school graduation for 1 student who drowned | Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper

(GLO)- That is Nguyen Tien Duc (student of Nguyen Hue High School, Dak Doa district) who had a drowning accident and is currently being treated at Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital.

On the afternoon of June 27, 41 testing sites in Gia Lai province organized and guided students on procedures for taking the 2023 High School Graduation Exam and disseminated exam regulations.

The total number of candidates present to study the regulations was 14,740. The total number of absent candidates was 121; including 1 candidate at test site No. 32 (Nguyen Hue High School, Dak Doa District), Nguyen Tien Duc (student of Nguyen Hue High School) who had a drowning accident and is currently being treated at Gia Lai General Hospital. The school is making a record of this case to request special consideration for high school graduation.

According to a quick report from the Gia Lai Departmentof Education and Training, in addition to candidate Nguyen Tien Duc, there are 6 other students being proposed by the Board of Directors of high schools: Luong The Vinh (Kbang district), Ly Thuong Kiet (Ayun Pa town), Phan Boi Chau (Pleiku city), Le Hoan (Duc Co), Truong Chinh (Chu Se) to be considered for special consideration for high school graduation due to traffic accidents, dengue fever, etc.

According to regulations, candidates who have an accident, are sick or have a special emergency no more than 10 days before the exam date or cannot take the exam on the first exam day will be considered for special consideration for high school graduation with the condition of being ranked good or better in terms of academic performance and conduct throughout the 12th grade year.
