Gia Lai improves administrative record handling skills for commune and ward levels

On the morning of July 12, in Quy Nhon ward (Gia Lai province), the Provincial People's Committee Office coordinated with the Department of Justice and related units to organize a training conference to improve skills in handling administrative procedure records and information and propaganda work at the commune level.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, connecting to 135 commune and ward People's Committees throughout the province.

The training focused on implementing two interconnected public service groups currently applied on the civil registration software according to Decree No. 63/2024/ND-CP, including: “Registration of birth, permanent residence registration, and issuance of health insurance cards for children under 6 years old” and “Registration of death, removal of permanent residence registration, settlement of funeral expenses and death benefits”. These are essential public services directly related to the rights of citizens.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Truong Cong Hoai, Deputy Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, said: the conference aims to equip officials, civil servants, and public employees at the commune level with knowledge and professional skills, helping to effectively and smoothly implement administrative procedures, especially interconnected public services.

In addition, the conference also provided guidance on how to look up administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal, and implemented content on the management and operation of commune-level electronic information pages according to Decree No. 42/2022/ND-CP, aiming to improve the quality of communication work at the grassroots level.

During the training session, many delegates participated in discussions and shared experiences, contributing to resolving difficulties and obstacles in the process of receiving and handling applications at the local level.
