According to estimates by the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA), coffee export turnover in the first 11 months of 2025 reached 7.85 billion USD. With strong growth momentum, the coffee industry is expected to surpass the 8 billion USD mark for the whole year, affirming Vietnam's position in the international market.

In the first 10 months of the year, Robusta coffee continued to be the main export product with nearly 1.08 million tons, worth 5.54 billion USD. Compared to the same period in 2024, the export value increased by 60.5%, reflecting the great advantage of high selling prices. Arabica coffee also achieved impressive growth, increasing by 108.4% in value.

Notably, the processed coffee group has become a new growth driver with turnover reaching 1.46 billion USD, a sharp increase of 58% over the same period in 2024. This result shows that the strategy of developing deep in the value chain is bringing clear results, helping the industry gradually reduce its dependence on raw exports.

The shift in production structure is demonstrating the direction of the Vietnamese coffee industry to focus more on quality and added value, instead of just chasing output. This approach helps Vietnam consolidate its position as an important and high-quality coffee supply center in the world.
