Gasoline and diesel prices will both decrease from 3 PM today, following adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
The price of RON 95-III gasoline (the most common type on the market) decreased by 80 dong, to 20,920 dong per liter. E5 RON 92 increased by 50 dong, to 20,440 dong.
Similarly, oil prices decreased by 20-190 dong per liter or kilogram. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel decreased by 190 dong, to 19,050 dong. Kerosene and fuel oil are now priced at 19,410 dong and 17,350 dong respectively.

Trump's tariffs and the retaliation from major economies have caused continuous volatility in the global oil market recently. Analysts believe that China's retaliation with high tariffs on US oil and gas products will cause demand for these commodities to shift to other markets.
In another development, the US President declared he would exert "maximum pressure" on Iran. In response, the Iranian President also called on members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to unite against potential US sanctions. Analysts expressed concern that if these sanctions were reimposed, supply disruptions could occur, driving up oil prices.
The operator said fuel prices fluctuated last week due to rising US crude oil inventories, President Trump pausing the application of new tariffs on goods from Mexico for a month, and concerns about a renewed trade war between the US and China.
These factors cause fuel prices to fluctuate depending on the product, but the general trend is downward. On average over 7 days, finished RON 95 gasoline decreased by 0.7%, and diesel decreased by 0.5-1.6%. Accordingly, each barrel of RON 95 gasoline fell to $86.2 and diesel to $91.8, while mazut was priced at $482.5 per ton.
