On the afternoon of January 20th, in Hanoi , the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding personnel matters of the Ministry of Public Security's Office.
At the ceremony, the head of the Personnel Department announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan (born in 1978, from Hai Phong), Director of the Bac Giang Provincial Police, to take up the position of Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security from January 20th.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To affirmed that Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan was evaluated by the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee as an officer with firm political resolve, good moral character, basic training, who rose through the ranks from the grassroots, and possesses work experience, leadership, direction, management, and operational capabilities.
The transfer of Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of the Bac Giang Provincial Police, to assume the position of Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security demonstrates the trust of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security in him; it is also a great joy, honor, and responsibility for Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan to leverage his experience and intellect, together with the Party Committee and leadership of the Ministry's Office, to continue to unite and lead the functional units under the Ministry's Office in effectively carrying out advisory, proposal, and coordination work according to their assigned functions and tasks. At the same time, he should take the lead in coordinating the reception, analysis, and processing of information and forecasts related to policies and laws concerning security and order, as well as Party building and the People's Public Security force.
Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan proactively coordinated with agencies under central ministries and departments, and local Party committees and authorities in carrying out various tasks; he maintained and effectively performed his function of spokesperson and providing information to the press in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry's Office.
At the same time, we must do a good job in political and ideological education, protecting internal political security, conducting inspections and supervision, and preparing for the Party Congresses at all levels of the Ministry Office Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
In his acceptance speech, Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan expressed his gratitude for the attention and trust of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security in assigning him this new responsibility; and for the attention, guidance, and cooperation of the comrades in the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province, and the provincial departments and agencies. He also thanked the officers and soldiers, his comrades and colleagues, for their companionship, assistance, and support throughout the performance of his duties.
The Chief of the Ministry's Office hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership, and guidance of the Ministry's leaders; the unity, coordination, and assistance of the leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Ministry's Office; and the support and cooperation of agencies and units to help the Ministry's Office perform its duties well, especially in advising the Ministry's leadership on leading, commanding, directing, and managing the People's Public Security force to fulfill the requirements and tasks in the current situation.
