Speaking at the event, Major General Vu Trung Kien, Deputy Commander of the Law Enforcement Department of the Vietnam Coast Guard, clearly stated the purpose and significance of the 3rd Vietnam-China Coast Guard Young Officers Exchange Program. This event is part of a series of foreign affairs and international cooperation activities of the coast guard forces. The program has great political significance, contributing to consolidating and deepening the good, substantive, and effective cooperative relationship between the two forces, serving as a foundation for building and promoting other cooperation activities at a higher level in the future.

The program is expected to take place from August 14 to 18, with activities including: a courtesy visit to the leaders of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army; a visit to a fishing village and participation in environmental protection activities; and a seminar and exchange between the two forces...

The Vietnam Coast Guard Command selected 25 outstanding young officers to participate in activities within the framework of the exchange program. In addition, reception staff and liaison officers were also carefully selected, ensuring a respectful, meticulous, and absolutely safe organization of the event.

Major General Vu Trung Kien requested that all officers and staff participating in the exchange program clearly understand the purpose, significance, and content of the program, as well as their assigned roles, responsibilities, and duties.

The officers and personnel attended the meeting and received their assignments.

Besides strictly adhering to military regulations and discipline, Major General Vu Trung Kien also requested that officers participating in the program overcome difficulties, strive to study and improve their knowledge during the training days, uphold a high sense of responsibility, and be determined to complete the assigned tasks and objectives.

On August 1st and 2nd, reception staff, liaison officers, and the delegation of young officers from the Vietnam Coast Guard participating in the 3rd Vietnam-China Young Officers Exchange Program will receive training on protocol, foreign affairs, security protection, and will also conduct field trips to several locations where activities within the framework of the exchange program are expected to take place.
