DNVN - On September 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1880/QD-TTg, appointing Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, as President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. This decision takes effect immediately upon signing.

Professor, Doctor Le Van Loi has been appointed President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences .

Professor, Doctor Le Van Loi, born in 1974 in Nghe An , is a scientist with many years of experience in research, teaching, and scientific management.

Throughout his career, he has held many important positions at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , including lecturer in religious and belief sciences, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department, Deputy Director of the Organization and Personnel Department, Deputy Director in charge of the Science Management Department, and Director of the Science Management Department from 2014 to 2020. In February 2020, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is an agency directly under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, operating under the direct leadership of the Politburo and the Secretariat. The Academy's mission is to train leading and managerial cadres, as well as political theory and scientific cadres for the Party, the State, and socio-political organizations. Simultaneously, the Academy serves as a center for theoretical research on Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the policies and laws of the Party and State, as well as the fields of political science and leadership science, providing scientific arguments for the formulation of development guidelines.

The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences is a government agency specializing in researching fundamental social science issues, providing scientific arguments to the Party and State in formulating strategies and policies for national development. The Academy also advises on social science policy and trains high-quality human resources to serve the country's industrialization and modernization efforts.
