Comments on draft regulations on the functions of party delegations and party executive committees

Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee chaired the conference. The conference was broadcast live to 31 locations nationwide.

In Tra Vinh province, there were comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Linh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; representatives of leaders of Party delegations and Party executive committees in the province; leaders of departments and offices under the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board;

Accordingly, the Draft Regulation on functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure and working relationships of the Party Delegation and the Provincial Party Executive Committee has 04 chapters and 16 articles. It stipulates the functions, tasks, powers; structure, organization, principles and working regime; working relationships; regimes, policies and implementation provisions...

At the conference, there were 25 comments and contributions. All comments agreed with the contents of the draft regulations of the Central Committee. The delegates also informed and shared the results of building the Party delegation and Party executive committee of their localities. The delegates contributed some contents on explaining words and adjusting some words in the draft regulations.

Delegates commented on a number of contents related to the functions and tasks of the Party Delegation and the Party Executive Committee, further clarified the organizational structure and working regime, the working relationship with the Party Committees at the provincial, district and equivalent levels, and reached consensus on the support units of the Party Delegation and the Party Executive Committee. Delegates unanimously proposed to soon issue model working regulations for Party Delegations and Party Executive Committees for pilot implementation and experience drawing.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, emphasized that this conference is of important significance in clearly and strictly defining the functions, tasks, powers, structure, organization, principles and working regime and working relationships of the Party Delegation and the Party Executive Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong highly appreciated the activeness and sense of responsibility of the provincial delegates in focusing on discussing and giving opinions on the draft regulations. The conference organizing committee will receive and synthesize the delegates' opinions to report to the Secretariat to soon complete and promulgate regulations on the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure and working relationships of the Party Delegation and the Party Executive Committee at the provincial level.
