Hanoi will have fireworks displays at 30 locations to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

According to the plan, the city will deploy 30 fireworks display points with 31 firing locations, including one high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display with 800 fireworks and 24 pyrotechnic displays with 480 pyrotechnic tubes at My Dinh National Stadium combined with the F1 racetrack area, Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district.

Specifically, there will be 8 locations for high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks displays, each with 600 fireworks, in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters and the Hanoi Post Office (Hoan Kiem District); Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho District); Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward (Hai Ba Trung District); Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward (Ha Dong District); Son Tay Ancient Citadel (Son Tay Town); the land area for the regulating lake project, Tam Hiep Commune (Thanh Tri District); and the Dong Anh District Sports Center.

In addition, there will be 22 low-altitude fireworks display locations at: Southeast of Ngoc Khanh Lake, Ngoc Khanh Ward (Ba Dinh District); Den Lu Lake Park, Hoang Van Thu Ward (Hoang Mai District); Park 02, Viet Hung Ward (Long Bien District); Hoang Cau Lake Peninsula, O Cho Dua Ward (Dong Da District); Cau Giay Park, Dich Vong Ward (Cau Giay District); Nhan Chinh Lake Park, Nhan Chinh Ward (Thanh Xuan District); Hoa Binh Park, Xuan Dinh Ward (Bac Tu Liem District); No. 1 Thuan An, Trau Quy Town (Gia Lam District); the rooftop of the 4-story People's Committee building of Me Linh District; Quang Oai Stadium, Tay Dang Town (Ba Vi District); Grandstand B, Dan Phuong District Stadium, Phung Town (Dan Phuong District); Lien Quan Town Stadium (Thach That District); Chuc Son Town Stadium (Chuong My District). Thuong Tin District Stadium (Thuong Tin District); the rooftop of the 6-story Military Command building in Quoc Oai District; Thao Chinh Sub-district, Phu Xuyen Town; Ecological Lake Park, Dai Nghia Town (My Duc District); Van Dinh District Stadium, Van Dinh Town (Ung Hoa District); Soc Son District Stadium, Soc Son Town (Soc Son District); Phuc Tho District Stadium, Phuc Tho Town (Phuc Tho District); Green Park, Kim Bai Town (Thanh Oai District); Hoai Duc District Cultural, Information and Sports Center Stadium.

The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 9:30 PM to 9:45 PM, on October 9, 2024.
