Kinh Mon town will hold a fireworks display to celebrate its upgrade to a type III urban area.

Kinh Mon town plans to hold a fireworks display at the ceremony announcing the decision of the Minister of Construction recognizing Kinh Mon town as a type III urban area (illustrative image).

According to the plan, the ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Construction recognizing Kinh Mon town as a type III urban area will be held at 7 PM on December 20th, at Nguyen Dai Nang Square.

The ceremony will feature a 20-minute low-altitude fireworks display with 150 pyrotechnic setups, funded through social contributions. The Military Command of the town will prepare a report requesting approval, and will lead the planning, surveying, and drawing of the organizational diagram for the fireworks display to celebrate the event.

The People's Committee of Kinh Mon town assigned specific tasks to specialized departments, agencies, and units to prepare for the solemn and safe organization of the event.

The ceremony announcing the decision of the Minister of Construction recognizing Kinh Mon town as a type III urban area is an important political event, marking the results in leadership and direction in implementing the goals of the Resolution of the 25th Party Congress of Kinh Mon town, term 2020-2025; acknowledging the positive contributions and consensus of all strata of the people, especially after 5 years of striving to build and develop Kinh Mon town (2019-2024).

At the ceremony, the Party Committee, government, and people of Kinh Mon town also received the Second Class Labor Order from the President of Vietnam .
