Hanoi Department of Education and Training informed that in the 2024 high school graduation exam, Hanoi has 109,476 candidates registered to take the exam, including: 95,935 candidates studying high school program, 13,638 candidates studying continuingeducation program and 4,621 independent candidates.

The city plans to organize 196 testing sites, with 93 sites located at junior high schools, 2 sites located at vocational education and continuing education centers, and 101 sites located at high schools.

At the exam sites, there are expected to be a total of 5,073 exam rooms, including 4,532 official exam rooms, 392 backup exam rooms, and 176 waiting rooms.

The Department also said it plans to mobilize more than 16,000 officials, teachers, and staff to participate in exam organization and nearly 800 exam markers.

The exam will take place on June 27 and 28. From now until before the exam takes place, schools will organize training on exam regulations and related regulations and instructions, ensuring that 100% of officers, teachers and employees assigned to the task have a firm grasp of the regulations and plans to handle unusual situations.

At the same time, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also requested the education and training departments of districts, towns and schools to urgently prepare facilities and equipment to organize the High School Graduation Exam safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.

Previously, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training successfully organized the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools in the 2024-2025 school year (including specialized, non-specialized, and dual-degree programs) with more than 117,000 candidates participating in the exam; nearly 220 exam locations and more than 5,000 exam rooms.
