Ha Tinh province announces the location and time for receiving applications for National Assembly and People's Council representatives.

According to information from the Ha Tinh Provincial Election Committee on December 14th, they have announced the location and time for receiving applications for candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, the application submission location is at the Department of Internal Affairs headquarters, No. 187, Nguyen Huy Tu Street, Thanh Sen Ward, Ha Tinh Province.

Local authorities in Ha Tinh province are focusing intensely and decisively on implementing tasks to ensure the smooth conduct of the elections for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels.

The application period is during business hours on weekdays, starting from December 15, 2025, and ending at 5 PM on February 1, 2026; however, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, and Sunday, February 1, 2026, the Provincial Election Committee will assign staff to receive applications.

Candidate dossiers must comply with the regulations stipulated in Article 35 of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies; Article 2 of Resolution No. 40/NQ-HĐBCQG dated September 29, 2025, of the National Election Council stipulating the mẫu văn bản đồ trang ứng dụng và trình đề nghị (template for application dossier documents and submission of application dossiers); and the regulations of polling stations in the election of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term and People's Council Deputies at all levels.

Candidates nominated by local agencies, organizations, or units, as well as self-nominated candidates, must submit two sets of application documents.

The Ha Tinh Provincial Election Committee notes that candidates nominated by local agencies, organizations, or units to run for the Provincial People's Council, as well as self-nominated candidates, must submit one set of application documents.

Candidates for National Assembly and Provincial People's Council representatives must fill out the application form and a brief biography on the National Election Council's website (https://hoidongbaucu.quochoi.vn) before submitting their applications.

The Ha Tinh Provincial Election Committee has also submitted a report to the National Election Council regarding the number of electoral units, the list of electoral units, and the number of National Assembly deputies to be elected in each electoral unit of Ha Tinh province for the 16th term.

Accordingly, the total number of electoral units for the 16th National Assembly in Ha Tinh province is 3.

Specifically, electoral unit No. 1 comprises 23 communes and wards (population 502,485), with 3 representatives to be elected. Electoral unit No. 2 comprises 19 communes and wards (population 598,655), with 3 representatives to be elected. Electoral unit No. 3 comprises 27 communes and wards (population 510,645), with 3 representatives to be elected.
