Responding to the call of General Secretary and President To Lam; the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; and the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade in Official Letter No. 264/CĐCT-CSPL dated September 12, 2024, to support people in overcoming the damage caused by Typhoon No. 3; Hanoi Beer, Wine and Beverage Joint Stock Corporation ( HABECO ) has launched a campaign calling on all cadres, workers and employees throughout the system to donate one day's salary, totaling over 1.35 billion VND.

On the morning of September 24, 2024, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Hoang Cong Thuy, received a donation from Hanoi Beer, Wine and Beverage Corporation, presented by the Chairman of the Trade Union, Pham Viet Dung (second from the left).

In the spirit of mutual support and the tradition of "Helping those in need," and with the unanimous agreement of the Board of Directors, HABECO is mobilizing all its officers, employees, and workers in the Corporation and its member companies to support those severely affected by the storms and floods with a donation of one day's salary.

The donations from the Corporation's officials, employees, and workers, along with some of its units, totaled over 759 million VND and were transferred to the Central Relief Campaign Committee – Vietnam Fatherland Front; the remaining units donated to their respective local organizations. The total value of the donations reached over 1.35 billion VND.

With the donations and support of employees throughout the system, HABECO hopes to provide additional resources to support the political system and local authorities in helping people in storm and flood-affected areas quickly overcome damage and stabilize their lives.

Although member units within the HABECO system, especially those in Hai Phong and Quang Ninh, were also affected and suffered damage to their facilities due to storms, floods, and heavy rains, HABECO, demonstrating its corporate social responsibility, promptly implemented many meaningful activities to support localities and people in overcoming difficulties and stabilizing their lives as soon as possible.

In addition to social welfare activities, the Corporation and its member units in the affected areas are also urgently working with the government and people to mitigate damage, proactively visiting and ensuring the smooth maintenance of production and business operations so that they can soon help the localities overcome difficulties, restore and develop production and business.
