Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed and issued decisions to appoint and extend the term of leadership positions at the Ministry of National Defense .
Specifically, in Decisions No. 2315 and No. 2316, the Prime Minister decided to extend the terms of office for two Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of National Defense in accordance with regulations.

Two Deputy Ministers of National Defence have had their terms extended: Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Member of the Central Military Commission, and Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission.
The above Decisions take effect from October 24.
In Decision No. 2318, the Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Member of the Central Military Commission, as stipulated by regulations. This decision takes effect from November 5th.
In Decision No. 2279, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4 of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard. The term of appointment is 5 years.
