Two Deputy Ministers of National Defense have their terms of office extended.

(Dan Tri) - The Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Deputy Minister of National Defense according to regulations for Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh and Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed and issued decisions to appoint and extend the term of leadership positions at the Ministry of National Defense .

Specifically, in Decision No. 2315 and Decision No. 2316, respectively, the Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office for two Deputy Ministers of National Defense according to regulations.

The two Deputy Ministers of National Defense whose terms of office were extended are Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, and Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission.

The above Decisions take effect from October 24.

In Decision No. 2318, the Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army according to regulations for Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission. This decision takes effect from November 5.

In Decision No. 2279, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4 of the Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard. The term of appointment is 5 years.
