Thousands of people watch fireworks celebrating Independence Day on the Hau River

On the evening of September 2, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, Can Tho City People's Committee organized fireworks displays at 3 locations: Tay Do Park (Hung Phu Ward), Xa No Park (Vi Tan Ward) and Urban Area 5A (Phu Loi Ward).

Fireworks sparkle on the banks of the Hau River

Among them, the high-altitude fireworks display at Tay Do Park, right on the banks of the Hau River, became the center of attraction for many people and tourists. The brilliant light of the fireworks combined with the lights of Can Tho Bridge created a sparkling, vibrant scene on the Hau River during the big festival night.
