HCM City Export 2025 is not only a place for businesses to showcase and introduce their products, but also a place to meet, find partners, expand markets, and promote exports.
Expanding the space for international trade.
On March 27th, the HCM City Export 2025 Fair, showcasing outstanding Vietnamese export products, opened in Ho Chi Minh City. The event will take place from March 27th to 29th, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

The fair attracted over 700 booths from more than 900 domestic and international businesses, showcasing a diverse range of product groups: agricultural products, food, seafood; handicrafts, souvenirs, regional specialties; textiles, leather goods, supporting industrial products, energy; equipment, processing, packaging and preservation technologies for food; packaging, printing, labels, and export support products (logistics, insurance, finance...).
The trade fair is an important opportunity to promote and introduce Vietnamese products and connect Vietnamese businesses with domestic and international buyers and distribution systems. This creates conditions for Vietnamese products to access key markets such as China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, the Middle East, the US, and the UK.

A highlight of this year's HCM City Export is the first-ever appearance of the "Vietnamese Bird's Nest Space" - the opening event for the "Bird's Nest Festival 2025" series, scheduled to take place in early October 2025. This is an opportunity for the Vietnamese bird's nest industry to affirm its quality and potential in both domestic and international markets.

This year's HCM City Export also attracted the participation of leading global e-commerce platforms, especially cross-border platforms like Alibaba, opening up opportunities to bring Vietnamese products directly to international consumers and boost exports through e-commerce channels.
Notably, for the first time, HCM City Export 2025 will simultaneously host a digital exhibition on the Arobid e-commerce platform, creating additional space and opportunities for international trade. Arobid's partnership and the launch of the Arobid TradeXpo digital exhibition alongside HCM City Export 2025 marks a breakthrough in exhibition technology, integrating with an ecosystem that supports domestic and international businesses and customers, enabling cross-border trade and connectivity 24/7 through online tools on the e-commerce platform.

According to reporters, the fair has so far attracted strong interest from nearly 200 international buyers from strategic markets such as South Korea, the United States, Guangdong (China), Singapore, India, Thailand, etc. These buyers will directly participate in business networking activities with Vietnamese enterprises.
Furthermore, the Organizing Committee also placed special emphasis on connecting Vietnamese businesses with major domestic distribution systems such as Saigon Co.op, Satra, Mega Market, Lotte Vietnam, AEON, WinCommerce, GS25, Genshai Mart, Central Retail, Farmers Market, etc. This is an opportunity for domestic businesses to expand their distribution channels, promote sustainable development, and increase the presence of Vietnamese goods in the market.

Promoting exports in a "Green - Clean - Digital" direction.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized: The Ho Chi Minh City Fair for Outstanding Vietnamese Export Products has been organized since 2023. To date, after two editions, the fair has become a vibrant meeting point for Vietnamese businesses and international trade promotion organizations, opening up many opportunities for business connections after each fair.

The 2025 Vietnam Export Trade Fair is a key event and an important bridge, creating new opportunities for Vietnamese businesses while contributing to enhancing the value of national brands on the international stage.
Emphasizing the importance of grasping the development trends of export industries and products, and based on the practical needs of businesses, buyers, and international trade promotion organizations, Ho Chi Minh City is orienting this year's fair towards an export strategy oriented towards "Green - Clean - Digital" to adapt to the requirements of the global market.

This includes focusing on encouraging green exports – boosting the production and export of environmentally friendly products that meet international standards. Simultaneously, it promotes digital transformation in trade – applying artificial intelligence (AI) and e-commerce to optimize distribution channels and access markets more quickly.
In addition, the focus is on exporting to major markets, as well as developing high value-added products. This is especially true for products such as bird's nest, ginseng, medicinal herbs, and high-end processed foods.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung believes that, building on the success of the "Outstanding Vietnamese Export Products Fair" from two years ago, this year's fair promises to continue delivering practical results. It will also open up new opportunities and successes for the Vietnamese and international business communities, and especially will bring the "Vietnamese bird's nest products" brand to the international market starting from this year's fair.
“After the fair, the organizing unit (the Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade) will continue to monitor and support Vietnamese businesses in connecting with international businesses and trade promotion organizations to understand needs and promote export opportunities to new markets. At the same time, they will identify needs and invite interested international businesses and buyers to participate and connect for trade at the 2025 Bird's Nest Festival that Ho Chi Minh City will organize in November this year,” Mr. Nguyen Van Dung suggested.
Within the framework of the fair, in addition to the product display area, the fair also organizes many trade promotion activities, creating opportunities to connect Vietnamese businesses with domestic and foreign partners, including: Green Export Forum & Conference; business networking program between Vietnamese businesses and domestic and international distribution systems; cross-border export trade through Amazon, Alibaba…; online networking via livestream with KOLs/KOCs; cultural and artistic performances, traditional craft village demonstrations, product making experiences; factory tours and surveys, raw material areas… |
