Ho Chi Minh City Lottery Company Limited announced the launch of a new prize structure and participation method for the scratch-off lottery with immediate results, with two familiar games: "Mysterious Numbers" and "Magical Numbers".

According to information from the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery, the revenue of scratch-off lottery products in the first 9 months of 2025 was 778 billion VND, reaching 119% over the same period and 108% of the plan.

Revenue from this new product has reached and exceeded the plan 3 months ahead of schedule, according to the leader of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery Company. Previously, the scratch-off lottery with immediate results was launched by the company since the beginning of 2019.

"Up to now, both games have been researched and comprehensively upgraded by the company in terms of prize structure and participation methods, especially the special prize increased from 300 million VND to 1 billion VND," said the leader of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery.

Accordingly, from October 25, on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of its establishment, the two games "Mysterious Number Box" and "Magical Number" will launch a new version, with the special prize increasing from 300 million VND to 1 billion VND.

Regarding the general business situation, the 2025 semi-annual financial report shows that Ho Chi Minh City Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. continues to lead the region with first-half revenue reaching VND 7,027 billion, an increase of nearly 11% over the same period in 2024.

On the other hand, total business expenses and cost of goods sold reached VND5,045 billion, up 12% over the same period last year, causing pre-tax profit of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery to decrease slightly by more than 1% to VND970 billion.

Record lottery sales

The Southern region includes 21 lottery companies. The total revenue of these companies in the first half of 2025 reached a record of VND 75,877 billion, an increase of 9.09% compared to the same period in 2024; and pre-tax profit was VND 9,926 billion, an increase of 9.14%. With the increase in revenue, the cost of paying bonuses also increased to more than VND 37,100 billion.
