On July 11th, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education held its 2025 graduation ceremony , marking the beginning of a week of celebrations that will last until July 18th.
On this occasion, the university awarded bachelor's degrees to 3,528 full-time students. Among them were 315 students who graduated with distinction and 34 valedictorians in their respective fields of study .
New graduate Lam Tien, a student from the Faculty of Primary Education , was honored as the valedictorian of the entire university with an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.95/4.0 .

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Huynh Van Son, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, spent a considerable amount of time sharing about the special journey that the 2025 graduating class has gone through.
The principal shared that students entering university in 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic cast a shadow over everything, faced unprecedented challenges: entirely online learning, social disconnection, and anxiety about their families amidst a health crisis .
However, overcoming all obstacles, they have matured, achieved commendable results, and are ready to enter a new era equipped with knowledge, courage, and a desire to contribute.
The Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education advised: "No matter where you go after graduation, always carry with you two core values: compassion and a life ideal . Knowledge and skills can help you achieve short-term goals, but a life ideal will be the guiding principle that helps you stay strong and live a meaningful life in the long run."
