"Coach Mourinho is keeping his commitment to AS Roma and will not move to Saudi Arabia, even though the Al-Ahli club leadership is very keen to arrange a meeting with the 'Special One' to negotiate," Corriere dello Sport reported.
Coach Mourinho wants to stay with AS Roma for at least one more season.
According to Corriere dello Sport : "Al-Ahli club president Walid Moaz made a second offer, requesting a direct meeting with coach Mourinho in London this week for negotiations. However, Mourinho categorically refused."
Coach Mourinho has had his own house in London for a long time. After the Serie A season ended, the coach has now returned to England to rest with his family. Previously, the 60-year-old Portuguese coach had rejected two lucrative offers from other clubs in Saudi Arabia, Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr.
The Corriere dello Sport also confirmed: "Coach Mourinho has a very close relationship with the owners of AS Roma. After a conversation with billionaire Dan Friedkin, the club's president, the coach promised to stay at AS Roma for the remainder of his contract. He is expected to negotiate an extension in August when the new season restarts."

In other developments, Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr, after failing to persuade coach Mourinho, have shifted their focus to negotiating with other big-name coaches such as Luis Enrique, Allegri, and Lopetegui.
