When did Coach Viet Thang make his debut?

According to Thanh Nien Newspaper's investigation, Coach Viet Thang has reached an agreement to lead Binh Phuoc Club. Other details have not been disclosed. However, at this time, the 2008 AFF Cup champion cannot officially join his new team as he is studying for his AFC Pro license in Japan. It is expected that both sides will sign the contract after July 21st, when Coach Viet Thang returns to Vietnam.

In the 2024-2025 season, Binh Phuoc FC came very close to securing promotion to the V-League for the 2025-2026 season. They finished second in the First Division but unfortunately lost to Da Nang FC in the play-off match, thus remaining in the First Division for another season.
