Support 400 million VND and 200 boxes of goods for families in Yen Bai affected by floods

On August 13, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society led by Ms. Bui Thi Hoa - President of the Central Committee of the Society visited Lao Chai and Ho Bon communes (Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province) to visit, encourage and provide support to affected families.

The delegation presented 40 households whose houses were completely destroyed with 10 million VND each. Households whose houses were severely damaged received a box of household goods including essential necessities.

The total budget and goods supported by the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee include 400 million VND in cash and 200 boxes of household goods with essential items worth 127 million VND.

At the families visited by the delegation, President Bui Thi Hoa kindly asked about and encouraged the affected families, hoping that they would soon improve their lives.

Yen Bai Provincial Red Cross supported 2 households with severely damaged houses with 1 million VND each and cash gifts such as instant noodles, rice, candy, blankets, and clothes mobilized by the association from organizations and individuals.

Sharing difficulties with Yen Bai province, Hoa Binh province Red Cross Society donated 50 million VND.
