Support over 235 million VND for poor students and policy families in Ky Anh

On the afternoon of July 12, the Hanoi Red Cross delegation coordinated with the Ha Tinh Red Cross and Ky Anh district to organize a gift-giving program for families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, and poor fishermen in difficult circumstances in Ky Khang, Ky Phu and Ky Xuan communes, Ky Anh district.

Vice President of Hanoi Red Cross Society Nguyen Xuan Hien and President of Ha Tinh Red Cross Society Mai Le Thuoc also attended.

Implementing the program "Safety for poor and disadvantaged fishermen", the Hanoi Red Cross delegation awarded 10 scholarships, 10 bicycles, supported the construction of 1 house, 100 gifts to policy families, poor and disadvantaged fishermen families in Ky Khang, Ky Phu, Ky Xuan communes, Ky Anh district...

...donate clothes and supplies to children in difficult circumstances.

Total value of gifts is more than 235 million VND.

On the same day, the delegation attended the groundbreaking ceremony to build a house for Ms. Dang Thi Nhan in Trung Tan village, Ky Khang commune, a poor household, and presented a support symbol of 50 million VND.

Also at this program, the Red Cross Society of Ha Tinh province awarded certificates of golden hearts to individuals to express gratitude for the companionship and support of the officers and members of the Red Cross Society of Hanoi city for humanitarian activities in Ha Tinh province in the past time.
