Support workers to return to the labor market

At a time when the labor market continues to have many fluctuations, Phu Tho Employment Service Center has proactively implemented synchronous solutions to stabilize the labor market. Thereby, it aims to advise, introduce jobs, support workers, especially unemployed workers to return to the labor market soon.

Every month, the Phu Tho Employment Service Center organizes job fairs, consultations, and job placement services for workers.

In recent times, the Phu Tho Employment Service Center has organized diverse activities to connect workers with the labor market, improving the effectiveness of job fairs with a variety of formats and numbers... creating opportunities for workers to directly interact and exchange information with employers based on the needs of both parties. To provide job counseling, placement services, and support for workers, especially the unemployed, the Center has updated 100 job openings on its official website “vieclamphutho.gov.vn” to help workers easily access recruitment information, particularly those receiving unemployment benefits.

In addition, the center has diversified its counseling methods, such as through job fairs; counseling through employment and vocational training conferences in communes, wards, and towns throughout the province; and direct counseling for workers registering for unemployment insurance benefits, etc. By the end of August 2025, it had provided counseling to 42,430 out of 46,000 people, achieving 92.2% of the annual plan. Simultaneously, it contacted businesses inside and outside the province that needed to recruit workers to introduce jobs to 530 workers. By the end of August, it had introduced 7,489 out of 8,900 workers, including 35 who found employment.

To simplify administrative procedures and increase service efficiency, the Center continues to implement the "One-Stop Shop" model, providing workers with modern and convenient access to services. With this model, workers only need to go to a single location – the Employment Service Center – to have all their needs addressed, including procedures for receiving unemployment benefits, job counseling, career guidance, vocational training referrals, access to new skills training, and other policies related to insurance, labor, and training.

Comrade Nguyen The Hung - Director of the Phu Tho Employment Service Center, said: Thanks to the proactive and comprehensive implementation of solutions, from the beginning of the year until now, the Center has introduced jobs to 7,489 people, achieving 84.1% of the annual plan, and 88 workers have been sent to work abroad. In particular, one of the important pillars of the policy to support workers in returning to the labor market quickly is the job counseling and placement service after workers receive vocational training support.

To achieve these results, the Center has organized 15 job fairs, reaching 62.5% of its plan, effectively connecting businesses and workers. In addition, the Center also organized 4 job counseling conferences to help workers update on recruitment trends and job-seeking skills. Notably, the Center has also seriously and correctly implemented unemployment insurance policies, with total expenditures from the beginning of the year to date exceeding 130.6 billion VND; along with providing vocational training support to many workers...

From now until the end of the year, the Center aims to organize 9 more job fairs and provide 5,000 instances of labor market information to the public. Simultaneously, it will continue to strengthen collective counseling, expand skills training, and provide career guidance to support unemployed workers in returning to the market as soon as possible. The Center will also implement flexible measures such as electronic transactions and accepting applications through various channels to make it more convenient for workers.

Hopefully, in the future, the Phu Tho Employment Service Center will continue to affirm its role as a reliable bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to social security stability and local economic development.
