Humanitarian support for families of victims of traffic accidents

This afternoon, June 24, authorized by the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund (Vietnam Insurance Association), the leaders of Bao Viet Quang Tri Company presented 45 million VND in humanitarian support to the family of the victim HNT, residing in Quarter 2, Ward 2, Dong Ha City, who died in a traffic accident.

On February 12, 2024, on National Highway 9, Ward 5, Dong Ha City, Mr. TLH, residing in Quarter 3, Ward 5, Dong Ha City, was driving a motorbike with license plate 74C1 - 052.04 on National Highway 9 when he collided with a motorbike with license plate 74C1 - 003.56 driven by Mr. HNT. The traffic accident seriously injured Mr. HNT and he died on February 13, 2024.

The Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund has verified that the motorbike with license plate 74C1 – 052.04 driven by Mr. TLH did not participate in compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners as prescribed at the time of the accident, therefore Mr. HNT is a recipient of humanitarian support from the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund.

Previously, on March 27, 2024, the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund also supported 45 million VND for the family of victim D.TH residing in Luu Nghia village, Trieu Long commune, Trieu Phong district. Ms. H. was the victim of a serious traffic accident that occurred on April 12, 2023 on National Highway 49C (through Luu Nghia village, Trieu Long commune) that resulted in two casualties.
