Providing humanitarian assistance to families of victims who died in traffic accidents.

This afternoon, June 24th, acting on behalf of the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund (Vietnam Insurance Association), the leaders of Bao Viet Quang Tri Company presented 45 million VND in humanitarian aid to the family of HNT, residing in Quarter 2, Ward 2, Dong Ha City, who died in a traffic accident.

On February 12, 2024, on National Highway 9, Ward 5, Dong Ha City, Mr. TLH, residing in Quarter 3, Ward 5, Dong Ha City, was driving a motorcycle with license plate 74C1 – 052.04 on National Highway 9 when he collided with a motorcycle with license plate 74C1 - 003.56 driven by Mr. HNT. The traffic accident resulted in serious injuries to Mr. HNT, who subsequently died on February 13, 2024.

The Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund has verified that the motorcycle with license plate 74C1 – 052.04, driven by Mr. TLH, was not covered by mandatory civil liability insurance for motor vehicle owners as required by law at the time of the accident. Therefore, Mr. HNT is eligible for humanitarian assistance from the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund.

Previously, on March 27, 2024, the Motor Vehicle Insurance Fund also provided 45 million VND in support to the family of victim D.TH, residing in Luu Nghia village, Trieu Long commune, Trieu Phong district. Ms. H. was a victim of a serious traffic accident that occurred on April 12, 2023, on National Highway 49C (the section passing through Luu Nghia village, Trieu Long commune), resulting in two casualties.
