According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association, the United States is the largest export market for Vietnamese pepper, reaching 67,802 tons, an increase of 41.1% and accounting for 28.8% of total exports.

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association, in November, Vietnam exported 15,948 tons of various types of pepper, with a total value of 106.5 million USD.
In November 2024, Vietnam exported a cumulative total of 235,335 tons of various types of pepper, including 207,498 tons of black pepper and 27,837 tons of white pepper. The total export value reached US$1.22 billion.
Compared to the same period in 2023, export volume decreased by 3.5%, however, export value increased by 46.9%. The average export price of black pepper in the first 11 months reached US$5,073/ton, an increase of 47.3%, and white pepper reached US$6,772/ton, an increase of 36.7% compared to the same period last year.

Next are the markets: UAE increased by 42.7%, accounting for 6.6%; Germany increased by 67.7%, accounting for 6.0%.
Many markets experienced double-digit export growth, such as the Netherlands (41.8%), South Korea (34.8%), Pakistan (34.5%), Canada (19.7%), Russia (15.5%), and the UK (14%).
China is Vietnam's sixth-largest export market for pepper, but this market declined by 83.6% compared to the same period in 2023.
Leading pepper exporting companies such as Olam Vietnam saw increases of 44.9%; Phuc Sinh increased by 49.4%; Nedspice Vietnam increased by 7.9%; Haprosimex JSC increased by 70.6%; and Tran Chau increased by 0.8%.
The Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association also reported that in the first 11 months of the year, Vietnam imported 32,977 tons of various types of pepper with a total import value of 155.3 million USD, an increase of 34.7% in import volume and 92.6% in import value compared to the same period last year.
Olam Vietnam is the largest importer, accounting for 34.5%, followed by Tran Chau and Harris Spice. Indonesia is the largest supplier of pepper to Vietnam, accounting for 42.8%, while imports from Brazil decreased by 39.9%.
