Dalat students take the afternoon off on the opening day of the Flower Festival

On December 4, the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong announced that it had notified preschool children, students, and trainees in Da Lat City to have the afternoon off on Thursday, December 5, before the opening of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024.

Students of all levels in Da Lat will have a day off on the afternoon of December 5, the opening day of the Flower Festival.

Lam Dong Department of Education and Training assigned units to notify parents of school holidays to manage their children; organize make-up teaching plans to ensure program progress according to regulations. For units with students participating in activities at the Flower Festival opening ceremony, heads of units need to pay attention, create conditions for students to participate and organize management to ensure safety, seriousness and good results.

At the same time, the Department also requested units to thoroughly educate civil servants, public employees, workers, students and trainees to raise awareness when participating in traffic and ensure security and order when participating in activities during the Flower Festival.

The opening night of the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival will have many students participating in the program.

According to the organizers, the opening ceremony of the Da Lat Flower Festival taking place on the evening of December 5 (scheduled at 8 p.m.) at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat City) will be a colorful picture of the land of thousands of flowers. The opening night will have the participation of many famous artists and about 400 dancers and extras from Bui Thi Xuan High School and the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Center.
