The above content is clearly stated in Decree No. 151/2024 of the Government, detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.
The Decree stipulates the responsibility of schools in organizing students and parents to sign a commitment to comply with the law on road traffic order and safety. The commitment includes the following contents: Students must not drive motorbikes without meeting the prescribed conditions; must not drive motorbikes without completing the program of instruction on safe motorbike driving skills; parents must not hand over motorbikes to students to drive without meeting the prescribed conditions.

The school also needs to coordinate with the parents' representative committee to regularly remind children to fulfill their signed commitments and regularly exchange and grasp information with parents about students' compliance with the law on road traffic order and safety when participating in traffic;
In addition, schools need to include compliance with laws on road traffic order and safety as one of the criteria for evaluating and classifying students' conduct.
The Decree also notes that the supplementary content of instructions on safe motorbike driving skills for students should be implemented right from the beginning of high school and vocational training institutions. The supplementary content includes: methods to recognize and handle dangerous situations when driving; structure and function of motorbike parts, methods of vehicle maintenance, vehicle safety inspection; traffic culture; responsibilities of motor vehicle drivers; rescuing traffic accident victims; safe driving postures, etc.
The Decree requires parents not to let their children drive vehicles that do not meet the required conditions. At the same time, they should regularly remind their children to fulfill their signed commitments and exchange and grasp information with the school about students' compliance with the law on road traffic order and safety when participating in traffic.
According to the Prime Minister's Directive on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for school-age children in the new situation, it is clearly stipulated that in cases of student violations, the authorities will send notices to the school for appropriate handling and educational measures; and strictly handle cases of parents who pick up and drop off their children violating traffic order and safety on routes near school areas.
At the same time, regularly review cyberspace, detect and strictly handle violations related to promoting violations, racing, weaving, and other behaviors that negatively affect young people.
