On May 22nd, the Provincial People's Committee held an online conference to disseminate and explain the laws and resolutions passed by the 15th National Assembly at its 6th session and 5th extraordinary session. Mr. Vo Van Canh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the conference.

The conference was connected online to locations in districts, towns, and cities.
At the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the 5th Extraordinary Session, nine laws were passed, including: the Law on Identity Cards; the Law on Real Estate Business; the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; the Law on Housing; the Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; the Law on Water Resources; the Law on Telecommunications; the Law on Land; and the Law on Credit Institutions.
Furthermore, during these two sessions, the National Assembly passed 12 resolutions, including policies on implementing national target programs; specific pilot policies on investment in road construction; application of supplementary corporate income tax according to global tax base erosion regulations; socio-economic development plan; state budget estimate; medium-term public investment plan… aimed at promptly addressing some shortcomings and limitations in practice.
These contents are of great significance not only for the implementation of socio-economic development in 2024 but also have fundamental, long-term strategic importance, contributing to the sustainable development of the country in the new period. These laws and resolutions will come into effect in 2024 and 2025.

At the conference, delegates were introduced to and briefed on the new points, key contents, requirements, and main tasks of five laws: the Land Law; the Identity Card Law; the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; the Real Estate Business Law; the Housing Law; and the Resolution on some specific mechanisms and policies for implementing national target programs.
Speaking at the conference, it was stated that the conference to disseminate and thoroughly explain newly passed laws and resolutions is an important activity, serving as a basis for the continued implementation of legal education and enforcement at each level, sector, and locality in the coming period.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The laws and resolutions disseminated and thoroughly explained at the conference contain very important regulations on land and housing; real estate business; credit institutions; some specific mechanisms and policies for implementing national target programs; identity cards; forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level…. Therefore, each agency, unit, and locality should have a plan and measures to strengthen the dissemination, popularization, and in-depth training on the content of the aforementioned laws and detailed regulations to officials, civil servants, and employees in their agencies and units, as well as the people in their localities, through appropriate forms; members of the Provincial Council for Coordination of Law Dissemination and Education should demonstrate a sense of responsibility and direct the development and issuance of plans for disseminating and popularizing laws in their respective sectors, agencies, and units; Regularly monitor, guide, inspect, and supervise the implementation within the assigned sector and area to ensure timely corrective action.
