According to Nguyen Dinh Bang, Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association, to ensure the effectiveness of each journalism award and competition, it is necessary to develop a systematic plan early on, then organize the launch of the competition at all levels of the association and among its members. Maintaining the provision of information related to the award or competition is crucial to encourage journalists to promote it in a targeted manner. The association also invites experienced journalists to share their knowledge and guide members in improving the quality of their entries through training sessions. In addition to sending information about supporting high-quality journalistic works and plans for participating in journalism awards to the branches, the association also assigns targets to each branch. For example, the Radio and Television Branch is tasked with submitting 40 high-quality journalistic works as a goal for each branch to strive for.
The Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association is holding a training course on journalistic skills for writing about Party building.
“ To encourage each member to improve the quality of their work and participate in competitions, good encouragement and rewards for their efforts are needed. In addition, this work should be linked to emulation movements so that journalists can participate together. For example, for members and journalists in the province who have won the National Journalism Award; the National Journalism Award on Party Building… the Provincial Journalists Association will propose to the Provincial People's Committee to award them certificates of merit,” shared the Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association. It is known that recently, at the journalism competition with the theme “Uncle Ho with Vinh Phuc,” the authors whose works won awards also received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee. This shows the province's great attention to its journalist members who produce quality journalistic works, encouraging each person to continue striving in their work.
It can be said that, building on the achievements already made, the Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association has been and will continue to contact local communities to organize field trips to create a creative space. From these trips, journalist members gain more material and articles about economic, cultural, and tourism models in those localities, thereby honing their skills and enhancing the spirit of solidarity among members.
