Women's association members in Bim Son town enthusiastically participated in the folk dance and sports competition.

On the morning of March 3rd, the Women's Union of Bim Son town organized the 2024 Sports Dance Competition with the theme "Healthy and Beautiful Dances" to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8th) and the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, and to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Women's Union of Bim Son town (April 14th, 1982 – April 14th, 2024). The competition attracted more than 500 female members from across the town.

Comrade Ha Thi Phuong, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, and leaders of the town presented flowers and commemorative flags to the teams.

To kick off the opening ceremony, delegates enjoyed a vibrant and spectacular folk dance performance set to the music of the song "Come to the Vietnamese People," performed by over 500 female officials and members from various teams and clubs.

Comrade Chu Thi Thu, President of the Women's Union of Bim Son town, delivered the opening speech.

In her opening remarks at the competition, the Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Bim Son town, Chu Thi Thu, emphasized: Over the years, the mass cultural, artistic, and sports movements in the town have always received the attention of the Party committees and authorities at all levels and have developed extensively with diverse and rich forms. A prominent example is the folk dance movement – ​​a simple yet joyful and community-oriented art form suitable for many age groups, attracting a large number of cadres, members, women, and people throughout the town to participate in training. All 7/7 ward/commune Women's Unions and 8 folk dance clubs, with hundreds of members, participated effectively in training, actively exchanged ideas, and won high prizes in online competitions at various levels.

On the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8th), the leaders of Bim Son town presented flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Provincial and Town Women's Union and representatives of the judging panel of the competition.

With the theme "Healthy and Beautiful Dance," this year's folk dance competition features 7 participating teams. Each team has at least 30 members. Within a time limit of no more than 10 minutes, each team performs two self-selected folk dance routines to music that reflects the Vietnamese national identity and the cultural nuances of Thanh Hoa province, praising the Party, homeland, country, family, and the fine traditions of Vietnamese women.

The event featured outstanding folk dance performances by various teams and exchanges between clubs.

The teams showed great creativity in their music selection, thorough rehearsals, and elaborate investment, aligning with the competition's theme and embodying the spirit of "health and beauty," thus leaving a strong impression, generating excitement, and attracting viewers.

Through this competition, women have showcased their talents, creativity, and confidence; fostered a spirit of solidarity, contributed to enhancing the cultural and spiritual values ​​of members and women, and built an image of Vietnamese women in general, and women in Bim Son town in particular, who are healthy enough to fulfill their responsibilities to themselves, their families, and society.

The leaders of Bim Son town and the Organizing Committee presented the special prize to the Women's Union Team of Bac Son ward.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the special prize to the Women's Union team of Bac Son ward; the first prize to the Women's Union team of Quang Trung commune; the second prize to the Women's Union teams of Ngoc Trao and Dong Son wards; three third prizes and a consolation prize for the unit that mobilized the most participating members.
