To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the Vietnam Circus Federation is organizing the program 'Living Forever with Dien Bien Phu' with the participation of more than 60 artists.
To commemorate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), the Vietnam Circus Federation is organizing the 2024 Circus and Magic Gala , bringing together outstanding artists to perform for audiences from April 27 to May 1 at the Central Circus Theater.
People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, said that this is an annual program, held on the occasion of the April 30th and May 1st holidays every year. In 2024, in addition to circus arts, there will also be a spectacular magic show.
The program offers audiences a variety of rich and captivating performances: "Colors of the Homeland" with pole climbing, buffalo circus, pig circus, dragon dance, lotus dance... performed by artists of the Vietnam Circus Federation; magic show, umbrella riding circus, goat wedding, swinging on a rope, wild roses , Central Highlands love fire , Central Highlands festival ...
The performance features outstanding artists from the Vietnam Circus Federation such as Thanh Hai, Hong Thuy, Pham Huong, Ngoc Quyet, Xuan Thang, Duy Anh, Viet Duy, Anh Vu…
In particular, audiences in Hanoi will have the opportunity to meet artists from many localities across the country, such as Meritorious Artist Minh Tuan (Quang Tri), magician Harry Nguyen (Khanh Hoa), magician Viet Duy (Ho Chi Minh City), artists from the Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theatre, the Vietnam Experimental Circus Theatre… These are all artists who have won high awards at domestic and international circus and magic competitions and festivals.

In addition, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the Vietnam Circus Federation is organizing the program "Living Forever with Dien Bien Phu".
The program is 90 minutes long, consisting of 5 parts: Heroic Northwest, Long March, Cannon Calling, On Him Lam Hill and Dien Bien Liberation.
People's Artist Tong Toan Thang said that viewers will be able to interact with a 3D space along with the artists playing the role of soldiers from Dien Bien Phu. From the audience's perspective, looking down like a miniature valley, the scenes will recreate the fierce and heroic battles of the soldiers through musical works such as: "Ho Keo Phao" (Dragging the Cannon), "Qua Mien Tay Bac" (Through the Northwest Region), "Giai Phong Dien Bien" (Liberating Dien Bien Phu), "Tren Doi Him Lam" (On Him Lam Hill), "Hanh Quan Xa" (Long March), "Chien Si Dien Bien" (Soldiers of Dien Bien Phu), "Be Van Dan Song Mai" (Be Van Dan Lives On)...
The program will recreate the images of historical heroes such as Be Van Dan, Phan Dinh Giot, etc., with the coordinated participation of 60 artists in various forms such as human circus, animal circus, along with singers, choirs, dancers, and more.
The program includes performances such as: human bicycle stunts, bamboo pole dancing, acrobatics, juggling, group balancing acts, male figure performances, leather rope dances, pole climbing, flag dancing, net tumbling, animal circus acts, group jump rope, group trampoline jumping, tightrope balancing, etc.
