The tournament aims to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the founding of Vovinam - Viet Vo Dao.
This tournament is not only an opportunity for young martial artists to demonstrate their talent and training efforts, but also contributes to spreading the martial spirit, discipline and identity of Vietnamese martial arts.
Among Vietnamese martial arts, Vovinam has developed on the largest scale with more than 2 million students in more than 70 countries and territories around the world and has become a sport that receives enthusiastic participation from a large number of people.
This martial art is also included in the curriculum in schools, contributing to the further spread and development of the nation's martial art.
Notably, this is considered the last national tournament with some provincial and municipal units before the merger.
Therefore, the matches become fierce as athletes and delegations want to leave their mark in their unit's colors.
