The Hue City Civil Defense Command recommends that units, localities, and people regularly monitor developments of heavy rain and strong winds at sea on mass media to proactively prevent. Heads of departments, branches, sectors, units, and members of the Civil Defense Command, according to assigned tasks, proactively organize inspections, direct and urge localities to implement measures to overcome the consequences of recent floods; at the same time, continue to closely monitor forecast information and developments of heavy rain; proactively review response plans of sectors and fields according to assigned tasks and authority, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.
Communes and wards should strengthen propaganda work, instruct people to proactively respond to heavy rains; review and supplement response plans for natural disasters such as heavy rains and landslides. Based on the risk level and natural disaster developments in the locality, according to decentralization and authority, decide to evacuate people in dangerous areas.
Owners of dams, irrigation and hydropower reservoirs continue to strictly implement reservoir operations to ensure water levels, according to the provisions of Decision 1606/QD-TTg dated November 13, 2019 of the Prime Minister on promulgating the inter-reservoir operation process in the Huong River basin and the approved reservoir operation process, ensuring the safety of works and downstream areas; review and develop specific operation and regulation plans according to forecasted rainfall scenarios from December 10 to 16 and the last days of December 2025, in order to proactively plan reasonable operations, both ensuring reservoir safety and contributing to flood reduction for downstream areas. Units and localities are ready with forces and means to deploy rescue work when situations arise.
