Cu Kuin District: Inauguration and handover of a classroom building worth 5 billion VND in Ea Bhok commune

On the morning of November 16th, Ngon Coffee Co., Ltd. collaborated with the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district to hold the inauguration and handover ceremony of the classroom building at Ea M'tá Primary School, Ea Bhốk commune, Cu Kuin district.

Attending the ceremony were the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin District, Vo Tan Huy, along with representatives from relevant departments and agencies. Representing Ngon Coffee Co., Ltd. were the Deputy General Director, Shyam Sunder, and the company's leadership team.

The Ea Mtá school in Hamlet 8, Ea Bhốk Commune, was built in the 1990s. Due to the long construction time, the classrooms are now dilapidated and do not meet the quality standards for teaching and learning. Given the urgent need for educational facilities in the district, the Cư Kuin District People's Committee proposed that Ngon Coffee Co., Ltd. sponsor the construction of an 8-classroom, 2-story school building at Ea Mtá Primary School.

The project, with a total investment of over 5 billion VND, comprises 8 classrooms across 2 floors and was sponsored and invested in by Ngon Coffee Co., Ltd. Construction began in March 2023. After 8 months of construction, the project was completed on schedule and handed over for use in the 2023-2024 school year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin District, Vo Tan Huy, said that in recent years, education and training in Cu Kuin District has developed comprehensively, steadily, and with many positive changes. Through this, the district has successfully achieved the goal of raising the intellectual level of the people, training human resources; focusing on educating students on ethics, character, and lifestyle; and diversifying and standardizing types of education and training to meet the learning needs of the people to the fullest extent.

In addition, by effectively implementing the socialization of education, diversifying types of schools and classes, and mobilizing maximum resources to invest in educational development, the network of schools and classes has been expanded to reach even the smallest villages and hamlets in the district.

These results were achieved thanks to the attention of leaders and authorities at all levels, as well as the sponsorship of philanthropists and organizations that previously provided funding for the construction of school facilities, such as the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, DakMan Vietnam Company, and now Ngon Coffee Co., Ltd., a company based in the district.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin District, Vo Tan Huy, also requested the People's Committee of Ea Bhok Commune and Ea Mta Primary School to strengthen propaganda among the people and students about protecting existing facilities; to have a plan for regular repair and upgrading; to beautify and care for trees to make the school's landscape more beautiful; to continue investing in missing items according to regulations to ensure teaching and learning in the future; and to meet the educational criteria in the construction of Ea Bhok Commune to achieve the New Rural Standard in 2024.

At the same time, we hope that in the future, businesses located in the district in general and Ngon Coffee Co., Ltd. in particular will have more programs to support social welfare activities in the district, including the field of education and training.

Expressing joy at the timely completion and commissioning of the Ea M'tá school building, meeting the teaching and learning needs before the start of the new school year, the Deputy General Director of Shyam Sunder Delicious Coffee Co., Ltd. affirmed that in the future, the company will continue to promote social welfare activities, prioritizing the implementation of corporate social responsibility programs in Cư Kuin district, including neighboring communes such as Ea Bhốk, Ea Tiêu, Dray Bhăng, etc., with the goal of sponsoring more practical projects in education and other fields serving the interests of the community and society.
