Cu Kuin District: Over 1,500 people received preferential credit loans under National Target Programs

On the morning of August 9, the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district held an online conference with the People's Committees of communes to evaluate the results of implementing the National Target Programs in the first 6 months of the year and deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

The report at the conference said that in the first 6 months of 2023, regarding the new rural construction program, the whole district had 139/152 criteria meeting the standards, reaching a rate of 91.45%, an average of 17.37 criteria/commune, 3/8 communes meeting new rural standards and 1 commune is completing the dossier. Cu Kuin district currently has 3 OCOP products approved by competent authorities and certified as 3-star.

Regarding the results of implementing poverty reduction policies, in the first 6 months of the year, the district has provided preferential credit policy loans with a total budget of over 54.5 billion VND for 1,552 beneficiaries of the loan programs.

Regarding the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, the District People's Committee has directed specialized departments to disburse development investment capital and career capital to implement projects and sub-projects related to solving the shortage of residential land, housing, production land, and domestic water; investing in essential infrastructure, serving production and life in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in a timely and effective manner...
