On the morning of November 24th, in Vinh City, the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion organized the opening ceremony of the 2023 program to introduce OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An province.

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives from relevant departments and agencies, partners, agents, distributors, and buyers of agricultural products, as well as 30 businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities in the province.

To date, Nghe An province has 422 products ranked as meeting OCOP quality standards of 3 stars or higher, including over 40 4-star products and 1 5-star OCOP product. Nghe An ranks second nationwide in the number of products recognized with star ratings.

The event aims to introduce and promote OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An province to consumers, distributors, agents, and supermarkets. Through this, it supports producers and businesses of OCOP products in Nghe An province in finding and expanding their product markets. At the same time, it assists businesses, cooperatives, and distributors in connecting supply and demand to find stable outlets for OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An province.

Simultaneously, we will seek investors to develop and expand the production of products with advantages and potential in the province, thereby strengthening Nghe An province's product supply capacity in both quantity and quality.

Also within the framework of the program, the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center collaborated with Go!Vinh supermarket to connect and introduce OCOP products from Nghe An into the retail system of Central Retail Vietnam Group.

Thirty participating entities, including individual producers, cooperatives, and businesses, all hoped to connect with and have their products selected for placement on the shelves of major supermarkets. This would, on the one hand, increase market share and revenue, and on the other hand, enhance their presence on advertising and marketing channels, bringing their products closer to consumers.
