Opening of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission suggested that Nghe An should proactively ensure security in ethnic, religious, mountainous and border areas; and continue to strengthen special relations with Lao localities.

On the morning of October 2, at the Labor Culture House, Nghe An province opened the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission emphasized that Nghe An needs to proactively respond to traditional and non-traditional security challenges, ensuring security in ethnic minority, religious, mountainous and border areas. Continue to strengthen special relations with Lao localities bordering the border, and take advantage of resources for socio-economic development.

This morning, the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee elected the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 20th term, 2025-2030, with 68 comrades./.
