The exhibition introduces to the public 150 photos, 10 documents and 150 precious artifacts.
The exhibition is divided into four parts with the following topics: “Seizing the Southern Land”, “One Heart for the Revolution”, “Maintaining the Border” and “Complete Faith”. In addition, the exhibition also displays books commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Military Region 9.
The thematic exhibition aims to introduce to viewers the process of birth, fighting, victory and growth of the Military Region's Armed Forces over the past 80 years. The images, documents and artifacts displayed at the exhibition have realistically recreated the arduous but extremely heroic struggle of the army and people of the Mekong Delta.

This is an opportunity for viewers to better understand the stature and historical significance of the struggle for national liberation and protection of the Fatherland in this land rich in revolutionary tradition and of important strategic position.
80 years ago, in response to the urgent demands of the revolution and the implementation of the Central Party's policy of resistance and national construction, on December 10, 1945, the Southern Regional Party Committee held an expanded conference in Binh Hoa Nam commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province (now Duc Hoa commune, Tay Ninh province), deciding to establish War Zone 8 and War Zone 9 - the predecessor of today's Military Zone 9. Since that historical milestone, December 10 every year has become the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of the Heroic Military Zone 9.
The exhibition is open to visitors until December 31.
