On September 9th, at Katara Cultural Village – Qatar's leading center for arts and cultural exchange – the Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar, in collaboration with the Katara Organizing Committee, solemnly inaugurated the art exhibition "Vietnamese Soul".
The event, which runs from September 9-20, will introduce to the Qatari public and international friends the unique works of three Vietnamese artists from different generations and schools.
The three artists featured in the exhibition showcase the diversity, depth, and creativity of Vietnamese art. Painter Nguyen Minh Son, one of the leading names in contemporary painting, presented landscape paintings capturing the peaceful beauty of his homeland. With vibrant colors and powerful brushstrokes, his paintings not only evoke emotions but also stir nostalgia for nature and life in Vietnam.
In addition, artist Khong Do Duy presents works rich in symbolism and convention, deeply influenced by Eastern philosophy. The harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, of meditative spirit and unique composition, creates a balanced space in his paintings, imbued with the spirit of the East.
In particular, female artist Vuong Linh – dubbed the "rose" of Vietnamese art – breathes new life into the exhibition. Inspired by nature and the vitality of spring, her paintings are rich in poetic beauty, giving viewers a sense of peace, optimism, and overflowing vitality.
