According to the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, in 2024, despite many difficulties, the province's socio -economic situation continues to have positive changes, tourism activities continue to have many improvements, maintaining a positive recovery momentum.
The total number of tourists in 2024 is estimated at about 4 million, meeting the plan, up 26% over the previous year; total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND 8,500 billion, equal to 94% of the plan and up 28%.
In particular, the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 has about 101,000 visitors coming to visit and experience, of which 20% are international visitors, with tourism revenue during the week of 159 billion VND.
