After 12 years since the show in Hanoi , Westlife has returned to Vietnam and had their first show on the evening of November 21 in Ho Chi Minh City, and will "burn" themselves out with the audience on the evening of November 22. Unfortunately, the organization of the show on November 21 was complained and angered by many audiences. In response to the audience's reaction, the show's organizers spoke up to explain.

Westlife's two shows at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC) are part of The Wild Dreams Tour. On the first night, about 85-95% of the audience bought tickets to attend (compared to the 15,000 tickets sold).

Shane, Nicky, Kian and Mark made Vietnamese fans extremely excited and welcomed them warmly. When the songs My love, I lay my love on you, Uptown girl, Nothing's going to change my love for you, If i let you go, You raise me up... were played, the audience sang along with the artists. Those were special and memorable moments.

However, many audiences regretted that some songs were not performed that night such as: Soledad, You make me feel … Besides, the program's organization had some problems that made the audience have bad experiences, upset right on the show and went to the organizer's fanpage to speak up. Some audiences even said that the singers' voices "saved" the organization.

Specifically, the audience was upset because the seating areas had a number of bad, dirty seats; some areas were blocked from view by technical tents, scaffolding, and iron frames. Before the show, the audience who bought tickets in the stands were "furious" because the organizers sold additional cheap standing tickets for 600,000 VND, and their view was actually worse than in the standing area. The organizers apologized during the show and moved a portion of the audience from the CAT3 blind area to the CAT2L and CAT2R areas.

Regarding these issues, Ms. Do Thu Giang, representative of AMO - the show organizer in Vietnam, said that initially the organizers did not plan to set up a technical tent in the middle of the field, but on the afternoon of November 21, Westlife's technical team saw that the rain might affect their technical equipment, so they requested to build a technical tent.

“We upgraded the seats for the audience, so it was not affected anymore. Westlife apologized to the audience for the technical tent appearing at the last minute. In addition, the organizers also added that there was heavy rain in Ho Chi Minh City before the show, so many seats had not been cleaned yet. The unsanitary situation also came from the audience's eating and drinking. The organizers promised to improve the problems in the second concert night,” said the organizers’ representative.
