Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Le Huu Hoang said that this is an opportunity to introduce the tourism image of the two sides, at the same time, creating a space for leaders and tourism businesses to directly discuss the current situation of tourism development between Khanh Hoa province and India. From there, practical ideas will be put forward to promote tourism development of both sides in the coming time.
“Khanh Hoa province hopes that the Consulate General of India will receive information shared by tourism businesses at the conference and work with the province to create favorable conditions for tourism development between Khanh Hoa province and India, growing faster than in previous years,” said Mr. Le Huu Hoang.
According to Deputy Consul General of India, Tushar Garg, Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa with its beautiful landscape, pristine beaches and vibrant culture, has many similarities with India’s diverse tourism destinations. Today’s conference is an opportunity to explore and capitalize on these similarities.
Mr. Tushar Garg suggested that participants should focus on identifying and developing areas where the Indian and Khanh Hoa tourism industries can cooperate effectively, such as health and yoga tourism, cultural exchange programs, eco-tourism, etc.
“This is not the first time we have gathered to discuss such potentials. The Consulate General of India in collaboration with Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has successfully co-organized similar conferences in 2022 and 2023. These efforts have laid a solid foundation for today’s discussions, leading to closer cooperation.
As we look forward, I encourage all delegates to actively engage in dialogue and explore new avenues for cooperation. Let us work together to translate these discussions into practical outcomes that will benefit the tourism industry of both India and Khanh Hoa,” Mr. Tushar Garg emphasized.
At the conference, participants exchanged ideas to enhance tourism cooperation between India and Khanh Hoa province in the coming time; promote the opening of a direct flight connecting Cam Ranh - India to facilitate the travel of citizens of the two countries and act as a bridge connecting tourism businesses in the province with Indian tourism businesses and experts.
