
On the morning of April 5th, hundreds of people in Dong Nai , along with youth union members, students, and militia members, gathered at Bien Hoa train station to welcome the special train carrying parade and marching contingents of the Vietnam People's Army from the North to participate in the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

From early morning, the atmosphere at the station was bustling. People carried bouquets of fresh flowers, eagerly awaiting the moment the train would arrive.
Ms. Tran Thi Mai (Long Binh Tan ward, Bien Hoa city) shared: “This is an opportunity for my child to feel more deeply about patriotism, especially since both his father and grandfather served in the military.”

At 10:36 AM, train D19E-971 arrived at the station, carrying special passengers: the marching and parade contingents of the Army from the North, who were participating in the commemorative ceremony.

The train carried over 600 passengers, all soldiers in uniforms representing the strength and indomitable spirit of the armed forces.


A touching moment between a female soldier from North Vietnam and a resident of Dong Nai province. Both expressed joy and warmth as they embraced each other like family.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, was deeply moved by the affection of the people of Dong Nai.

Corporal Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, a female officer in the communications corps, sat in the vehicle, extending her hand out the window to form a heart shape with a young woman wearing a blue volunteer shirt.
"This is our first time on assignment in the South. We will do our best to complete the assigned mission excellently," the female communications officer shared.

The youth union members helped move the soldiers' luggage to the vehicles that were gathering them to return to their units for continued training.

According to the plan, the parade and marching contingents of the army and militia will consist of nearly 3,200 people, divided into 5 groups.
The military parade and procession commemorating the 50th anniversary of national reunification will take place on the morning of April 30th in Ho Chi Minh City. Over 13,000 people will participate, representing 35 contingents of armed forces and police. The military parade is a joint effort by the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Public Security ; the procession is organized by Ho Chi Minh City.
