The moment a female soldier from the North and a Dong Nai resident hugged each other like family

Female soldiers on duty in the South were hugged tightly by Dong Nai people like family members, demonstrating the sacredness of the military-civilian relationship, towards the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

On the morning of April 5, hundreds of Dong Nai residents, along with youth union members, students and militiamen gathered at Bien Hoa station to welcome the special train carrying the parade and marching groups of the Vietnam People's Army from the North to participate in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

From early morning, the atmosphere at the station area became bustling. People brought fresh bouquets of flowers, eagerly waiting for the moment the train arrived.

Ms. Tran Thi Mai (Long Binh Tan ward, Bien Hoa city) shared: "This is an opportunity for my child to feel more deeply about patriotism, especially when both his father and grandfather served in the army."

At 10:36, train number D19E-971 arrived at the station, carrying special passengers, including military parade groups from the North, to participate in the celebration.

The train carried more than 600 passengers, who were soldiers in uniforms representing the strength and spirit of victory of the military force.

A touching moment between a female soldier from the North and a Dong Nai resident. Both expressed joy and warm feelings as they hugged each other tightly like family.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, was moved by the sentiments of the people of Dong Nai.

Corporal Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, a female information officer of the Signal Corps, sat in the car, reaching her hand out the window to form a heart shape with a young female volunteer in a blue shirt.

"This is the first time we have been to the South on a mission. We will try our best to complete the assigned mission excellently," the female Communications officer shared.

Youth union members helped move the soldiers' luggage to the vehicle to return to the unit to continue training.

According to plan, the parade and marching groups of the army and militia have nearly 3,200 people, divided into 5 groups.

The parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification will take place on the morning of April 30 in Ho Chi Minh City. More than 13,000 people will participate, with 35 armed forces and police forces. The parade will be coordinated by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security ; the parade will be organized by Ho Chi Minh City.
